Technical Questions

Custom software development is creating software for the use of a specific user. The requirements of the user are gathered, and a project put together to create the custom software. The alternative is off-the-shelf software which is developed for anyone to use and is not created specifically for any one user’s needs. You can read more in our Blog.

Digital transformation can take many forms and the needs will vary between businesses. For some, digital transformation may involve moving their on-premises systems to a cloud platform. Others will improve the efficiency of their operations by upgrading their current IT systems or creation of a dedicated custom software system. Learn more in our Blog.

AWS is Amazon Web Services. It is a range of Cloud products including data storage, website hosting and machine learning. This Blog has a lot more information on AWS.

An AWS partner is a member of the AWS partner network (also sometimes referred to as APN). To be a member of the network you have to earn endorsements from AWS after meeting certain criteria.

Microsoft has two levels of partner: Silver and Gold. A Gold Partner has demonstrated their commitment to excellence in Microsoft technologies. A member must meet requirements set by Microsoft to become a Gold Partner.

Project Questions

It’s not possible to say how long your project will take without knowing what your project is. Contact us about your project and we can work with you to develop a project plan with time and cost estimates.

These can vary depending on our work in progress at the time. After we have undertaken a discovery with you and developed a project plan we can start organising resources to set out the project timeline. Our average lead time is 4-6 weeks.

We can work with you in discovery to determine the appropriate solution for your requirements. To get a head start in discussions, it is helpful if you have identified your pain points, had discussions with stakeholders and considered what you would like your solution to achieve.

This is entirely dependent on your project. After undertaking a discovery, we will create a project plan and project estimates. The cost and pricing model will be presented and discussed with you. You can then sign off on this before development begins.

Following the discovery phase, we create a thorough requirements document that lists all aspects of your system. Developers then estimate the time it will take to complete each task based on their experience. From this estimate we calculate the project costs.

Contact us here and we will be in touch to discuss your project need.

Any setbacks are communicated to the client. We believe that it is important to be transparent and that clients understand the status of their project.

Any changes will need to be requested. We try to accommodate changes depending on what the change is and the stage of the project. Changes may incur additional charges which would be outlined and agreed to by the client before Implementing the change request.

The intellectual property rights of the solution pass to the client once the project is complete. We may use some of our own pre-existing components to deliver your solution. We will grant clients non-exclusive, non-transferable, irrevocable, worldwide source code licence to use these components.

Scale your business with innovative digital solutions.
